Science is central to AURA’s college-preparatory curriculum and its commitment to preparing students for the opportunities and challenges of the future. Our science-focused program helps students develop a deep understanding of the natural world while strengthening their ability to investigate questions, evaluate evidence, solve problems, and communicate scientific ideas.
Students engage with subjects such as biology, chemistry, physical sciences, anatomy, physiology, and related areas of study. Classroom instruction is supported by inquiry, laboratory experiences, research, collaboration, and real-world applications. Rather than simply memorizing facts, students learn how scientists think: asking meaningful questions, developing hypotheses, analyzing information, interpreting results, and drawing evidence-based conclusions.
AURA’s Health Sciences Pathway provides a strong foundation for students interested in careers such as medicine, nursing, pharmacy, biomedical research, public health, and other healthcare professions. Through exposure to health-related subjects and college-level expectations, students begin connecting their high school education with their long-term academic and professional goals.
