Grygorii Koval
Grygorii Koval
Since 2014 Grygorii Koval has been permanently teaching classical guitar in Switzerland where he gained experience in working with students of all levels and age categories. Grygorii Koval graduated from Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) with Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance and Master of Arts in Music Pedagogy degrees in 2017. In addition to his solo performances, Grygorii often plays chamber music with various instruments. He is a regular participant at some of the world’s most prestigious masterclasses, including Summer Guitar School with Prof. Oscar Ghiglia in Siena (Italy), lessons with such famous artists as Pablo Marquez, Marcin Dylla, Aniello Desiderio and Pepe Romero. In June 2021 Grygorii received his second Master degree in Music Performance at Lugano Conservatoire (Conservatorio della Svizzera Italiana), where he was studying with famous Prof. Lorenzo Micheli. Grygorii Koval is currently finishing his doctoral program in classical guitar performance and is a teaching assistant at USC Thornton School of Music in class of Grammy Nominee Prof. Bill Kanengiser.
